 Petts Hill has remained open for the children of Key Workers and from Monday the 15th June has opened more widely for children in the following classes:- Reception, Year 1 and Year 6

Parents of children in those year groups have been sent an offer explaining what school will be like for children returning. We called this the ReceptionYear 1 Year 6 offer. Each of these classes are organised into two bubbles A & B so that there are no more than 15 in any bubble. The children stay with their bubble all day and do not mix with other bubbles. The school is managing to use social distancing throughout to keep us all safe. Children were sent a video to watch to help them with the changes. 

 We also have a bubble of children that have attended school as the children of key workers or vulnerable children. This group is called Infinity. This group is now full with 15 children in the bubble.


For Petts Hill Children at present not able to attend school:- 

 We are committed to continue to provide a weekly timetable of work including the White Rose  Maths teaching videos for the children to work through. Year 2 , 3, 4 & 5 will all have weekly Zoom meetings scheduled to support them having weekly contact with the school, their teacher and classmates. All teachers in school are now teaching bubbles from other classes as directed by the government and so will not be able to have as much contact with children and their learning individually.

We are currently working on plans to support children in their transition out of lock-down and moving onto their next class in September. We will share these plans when they are agreed.
